Accounts are created automatically, you should have an email from us with a link to set your password when you place an order with us for the first time.

You can also click the lost password link to reset your password if you need.

You can unsubscribe by logging in to your dashboard and visiting the edit account page or by clicking unsubscribe at the bottom of one of our emails.

Technical

Your course content can be accessed from your user Dashboard, where you’ll be taken once you log in or purchase a course with us.

The course content is broken down into ‘Lessons’, which contain ‘Topics’ and ‘Learning Activities’. These must be marked as complete in a linear order to proceed to the next element of the course.

Depending on the course you’re enrolled on you may not have access to the course content immediately, as some course content is ‘drip fed’ and made available each week. You will see a notification if this is the case with a date when that course content will be available.

Click the ‘Start Course’ (or ‘Resume’) button to get started. 

The overarching course page will give you an introduction to what you can expect in the course and provide links to the course content. You can also access these links from the user Dashboard at any time.

Click on the first Lesson and you will find a breakdown of the Lesson Objectives and the Lesson Content below that. These are the Topics and Learning Activities. 

When working through this content you may be required to have completed steps such as watching video content made available on the page or performing other activities before you can proceed. 

Once you have completed any required steps you will be presented with ‘Actions’. These may be Learning Activities or Assignments, or may simply be a button to ‘Mark as complete’ and proceed to the next step. 

Once all Topics and Learning Activities have been marked as complete you will be returned to the Lesson page where again you will need to mark as complete to progress to the next step in the course.

We have created a resource to help explain some of the terminology that is used in our course and around this site. If you’re unsure what something means, or you’d like clarification on a concept or particular acronym (music technology is full of them!) please do check here. We link specific terms form within our course content too, so if a term or word shows with a hyperlink you can click it to get an explanation.
